Nacho (“Nacho” or the “App”) is an off‑chain, non‑custodial wallet application for decentralized names developed by Impervious, Inc. (“Impervious,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Nacho mobile application.
This policy applies only to the Nacho App. It does not apply to:
Most data used by Nacho is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless you choose to share it.
When you use Nacho, we do not:
As of the “Last updated” date above, we do not collect any personal data directly from your use of Nacho.
To function as a wallet, Nacho stores and processes data locally on your device, such as:
This data is stored only on your device (and any backups you create) and is not sent to Impervious.
If you choose to contact us (for example by email or via a support form outside the App), we may receive:
We use this information solely to:
We retain this information only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.
By default, Nacho does not automatically send device identifiers or diagnostic data to Impervious.
If you decide to share diagnostic logs with us while asking for support, those logs may contain non‑personal technical information such as:
We use this information only to investigate and fix issues and then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed.
We use the limited information we receive (mainly support communications and any diagnostic data you voluntarily provide) to:
We do not sell your information.
Nacho may request access to your device’s camera only so you can scan QR codes to import certificates or perform similar wallet operations.
We do not capture or store photos or videos for any other purpose. We do not transmit camera images to Impervious servers or to third parties.
You can manage camera permissions in your device’s system settings, though disabling the camera may prevent certain QR‑based features from working.
Nacho may use your device’s network connection to interact with decentralized networks, resolvers, or other services necessary for:
When this happens, third‑party providers (such as network operators, blockchain nodes, or DNS/resolver services) may receive technical data like your IP address as part of normal internet traffic. These third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices.
Impervious does not control, operate, or log data from those third‑party networks unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Any information processed by those third parties is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to review those policies before using their services.
Because we do not collect in‑app personal data, we do not sell or share your wallet data with third parties.
We may share the limited information we do receive (for example, support emails) in the following situations:
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the limited information we control from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, Nacho is a non‑custodial wallet, which has important consequences:
If someone gains access to your device or seed phrase, they may be able to control your wallet and associated names. Treat your seed phrase and backups like cash or physical keys.
Impervious, Inc. is based in the United States, and any personal information you provide to us (for example via support email) may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
These locations may have privacy laws that are different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we will take appropriate measures to ensure adequate protection for your information in line with applicable laws.
By contacting us or providing information to us, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this Privacy Policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to:
Because Nacho is designed so that we do not have access to your in‑app wallet data, these rights generally apply only to information you have actively provided to us (for example, support emails and related communications).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in the “Contact Us” section below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. In some cases, we may be unable to comply with your request if we do not have sufficient information to identify you or are otherwise restricted by law.
Nacho is intended for use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete such information where required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Your continued use of Nacho after any changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
